- The Community Pregnancy Center (CPC) opened its doors in South Houston in 1983. In 2006, it moved to the new facility off Vista and Beltway 8. April, 2008, marked the 25th anniversary of ministry and service to the people of South Houston and Pasadena. The CPC is staffed by caring, trained volunteers who minister to those facing an unplanned pregnancy. About 2,000 clients are helped by the CPC annually. All services are free and confidential.
